With Independence Day right around the corner, communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia are gearing up to celebrate the nation’s birthday with a bang. Fireworks shows and events are being announced daily as the holiday approaches.
In North Carolina, Archdale’s 4th of July Festival will kick off on July 4th at Creekside Park with food trucks and live music. Nearby in Greensboro, the Fun Fourth celebration will take place downtown with a Freedom Run and fireworks show after the Greensboro Grasshoppers game.
Other events in the area include the Uncle Sam Jam, Liberty July Festival in Fayetteville, Mebane’s Independence Day Celebration, and Davie County’s Independence Celebration, all featuring festivities and fireworks displays.
Randleman will have a “Fun Day” event on July 5th, while Mount Airy will host a Fourth of July Parade and Celebration. In Winston-Salem, fireworks can be enjoyed at the Winston-Salem Dash game at Truist Stadium or after the Carolina Disco Turkeys game at Wake Forest University.
