A 17-year-old male from Westmoreland, Tennessee has been arrested in connection with the murder of Trinity Bostic, a 17-year-old girl who went missing last month. Bostic’s remains were found on July 3 along a busy Middle Tennessee road. The teen suspect is currently being held in Sumner County Detention and has been charged with first-degree murder. Bostic was reported missing in Macon County on June 29, and her body was discovered by a Tennessee Department of Transportation worker. Police suspect foul play and have classified the case as a homicide investigation. The cause of Bostic’s death is still under investigation pending an autopsy. The Hendersonville Police Department is asking anyone with information about the case to contact them or the Hendersonville Crime Stoppers. Police have not provided any additional information about the arrest, and the investigation is ongoing.
