Gosselin rose to fame alongside her ex-husband Jon Gosselin on the TLC series “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which documented their lives raising their eight children. The couple’s divorce in 2009 was highly publicized, with Kate filing shortly after allegations of Jon’s infidelity surfaced.
In 2022, Gosselin’s son Collin opened up about his estranged relationship with his mother, citing the pressures of being on a reality TV show as a contributing factor. Collin now lives with his father and plans to join the Marines after high school graduation. Despite the strained relationship, Collin expressed a desire to reconnect with his mother in the future.
Gosselin’s recent appearance on FOX’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” ended abruptly after she sustained an injury during a challenge. This marked her return to reality TV after the short-lived series “Kate Plus Date” in 2019.
