Kevindale Nurse from Brooklyn is facing arson charges after allegedly throwing an explosive into a Verizon truck in a road rage incident, injuring two workers. Nurse was seen on surveillance footage driving erratically before throwing the explosive. He had his 4-year-old son with him at the time of the incident. If convicted, Nurse could face up to 40 years in prison.
The incident is part of a disturbing trend of road rage incidents in 2024 that have caused injuries and deaths. In California, two men died after shooting at each other following a lane-splitting argument. In Indiana, a man was killed after being shot in Indianapolis. In Massachusetts, a woman died after being intentionally struck by a car in a road rage incident. In Florida, a man faces charges after shooting at a sedan, injuring a 4-year-old girl.
Authorities warn against engaging in road rage incidents and advise avoiding conflict and de-escalating situations. Road rage can have severe consequences, as seen in these incidents.
