Belarus accuses Ukraine of gathering troops at border during incursion into Russia | Latest updates on Russia-Ukraine conflict


Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has accused Kyiv of stationing over 120,000 soldiers along the border with Belarus as fighting continues in Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region. Lukashenko stated that nearly a third of Belarus’s armed forces have been deployed along the border in response to the Ukrainian presence. He warned that Belarus would be on the offensive if Ukraine attempted to enter Belarusian soil.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have launched attacks on Russian targets, including striking a bridge in the Kursk region and attacking an oil storage facility in Russia’s Rostov region. Russia accused Ukraine of dropping an explosive charge near the plant, while the IAEA expressed concern about the deteriorating nuclear safety situation.

North Korea condemned Ukraine’s incursion into Russia and expressed support for Russia, accusing the US of bringing the world closer to World War III. The United States and South Korea have accused North Korea of providing ammunition and missiles to Russia for its war in Ukraine.

The tensions between Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus continue to escalate, with ongoing military actions and threats from all sides. The international community is closely watching the situation and calling for restraint to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
