In response to the conflict, North Korea has condemned the US’s anti-Russian policies, warning that the global security environment is teetering on the brink of World War III. North Korea has stood with Russia against Ukraine’s actions, describing them as acts of terror backed by the West.
Meanwhile, tensions continue to escalate with a recent missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. The attack, using North Korean ballistic missiles, was repelled with no reported damage or casualties. The UN’s nuclear watchdog has also raised concerns about the deteriorating safety situation at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, further intensifying fears of a broader conflict.
