Three North Carolina men have been sentenced in Oklahoma for possession of more than 40 kilos of methamphetamine. The men were arrested last year during a traffic stop in Canadian County, Oklahoma. They were found to be in possession of 88 pounds of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $1.3 million.
The three men, identified as 27-year-old Javier Aguilar-Galindo, 28-year-old Mario Rios-Delgado, and 30-year-old Martin Gaspar-Pedro, were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 10 to 12 years. They were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
According to authorities, the men were part of a drug trafficking operation that spanned from California to North Carolina. The men were transporting the methamphetamine from California to North Carolina when they were stopped in Oklahoma.
