UNHCR has launched an emergency appeal for aid in Lebanon, criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s handling of the situation. IDF Spokesperson confirmed Hezbollah’s missile was headed towards civilian areas in Tel Aviv, which was intercepted. Israeli attacks have targeted Hezbollah’s arsenal and leadership. The Gaza Strip has also been targeted by Israeli airstrikes.
Israel has imposed tighter restrictions in the northern parts of the country, including school closures, affecting over a million people. The claims of civilian casualties in Gaza have not been independently verified. The situation continues to escalate, with both sides preparing for further confrontations.
