Who has President Trump chosen for his Cabinet so far? Dr. Mehmet Oz included in recent selection

Donald Trump announced several key nominations for his incoming Cabinet, including Dr. Mehmet Oz for administrator of the U.S Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Howard Lutnick as commerce secretary, Linda McMahon as education secretary, Sean Duffy for Secretary of Transportation, and Brendan Carr to head the Federal Communications Commission. Despite controversy surrounding some nominations, Trump stood by his pick of former Rep. Matt Gaetz for attorney general.

Dr. Oz, a TV star and physician, has been chosen to tackle the “illness industrial complex” alongside Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who will lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Howard Lutnick, a Wall Street billionaire, is expected to oversee job creation and economic growth as commerce secretary, while Linda McMahon will lead the Education Department if approved by the Senate.

Trump’s other picks include Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence, and Elise Stefanik for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. His Cabinet nominees cover various areas of government, ranging from healthcare and education to defense and Homeland Security. Each nomination will need to be confirmed by the Senate before taking office.
