NC State, Duke, and UNC have all accepted invitations to compete in college football bowl games this season. NC State will be playing in the Go Bowling Military Bowl against East Carolina on Dec. 28 in Annapolis, Md. This will be NC State’s 36th bowl qualification and 35th bowl game played. UNC will be playing in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl against UConn on the same day at Fenway Park in Boston. This will be their sixth appearance in bowl games in a row and 39th appearance in program history. Duke will be facing Ole Miss in the Taxslayer Gator Bowl on Jan. 2 in Jacksonville, Fla. This will be Duke’s first appearance in the Gator Bowl.
