Eagles set to compete in HBCU Collegiate Invitational this weekend


The North Carolina Central softball team is gearing up for the HBCU Collegiate Invitational happening in Covington, Ga from Feb 14-16. The Eagles, with a current record of 0-4, will be facing off against five opponents throughout the weekend. The teams they will be playing include Southern, Alcorn State, Florida A&M, Grambling State, and Alabama A&M.
The Eagles are coming fresh off a four-game tournament at the Elon Classic, where they showcased impressive performances from players like Kendall Smith, Daiyah Bailey, Tyler Suttles, and Kristin Corner. The team is looking to continue their momentum into the upcoming invitational.
All five games at the HBCU Collegiate Invitational will be livestreamed on GameChanger for fans to watch. Following the invitational, the Eagles will be facing off against North Carolina A&T on Feb. 19.
