Duck hunters in North Carolina stumbled upon human remains while hunting in a wooded area in Taylorsville. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the discovery and is currently investigating the situation. The identity of the remains is unknown at this time.
This discovery comes shortly after the recovery of the bodies of Wesley and Andruw Cornett, who tragically died while duck hunting in North Carolina when their kayak overturned. Andruw attempted to save Wesley when he overturned, but unfortunately, both teens lost their lives in the accident.
The mother of the Cornett brothers, April Clark, set up a GoFundMe page to help with the search efforts and to eventually lay her sons to rest. She described Andruw as a hero for trying to save his brother and expressed the family’s struggle to come to terms with the tragic accident.
