The lawsuit, seeking $50 million in damages, alleges that CNN’s reporting was based on compromised data and did not meet journalistic standards. Robinson and his attorney believe this was a deliberate attempt to interfere with the 2024 gubernatorial election in North Carolina. Robinson, who denied the allegations, stated that he will continue his campaign and expects to win despite the attack. The lawsuit is currently in Wake County Superior Court where more information is expected to be revealed regarding the allegations and potential election interference. Robinson and his legal team are determined to hold CNN accountable for the damage done to his reputation and are prepared to use all available tools including subpoena power to pursue the truth.
